Are you loving life and fulfilling your life purpose?  Or do you feel like you are drifting along and going through the motions?

Instead of some wishy-washy New Year’s resolutions I propose we all do a little self development these holidays and ponder what our core values are to help us live a more satisfying and meaningful life.  This is a Japanese concept called Ikigai.

Ask yourself – What are my Values??

Your values are the things that are most important to YOU in life.  Values give us our sense of purpose, they reflect who we are as individuals.  They are the essential truths that you live and die for because their worth is unquestioning.

When you align with YOUR core values on a daily basis, you have more energy and feel more fulfilled because you are living according to what is important to YOU and it ignites passion. When we don’t align with our values OR live according to the values of others, we feel less authentic and become unmotivated with our daily lives.

“The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why”– Mark Twain

So take some time these holidays to write down your core values in life and what you are passionate about.  Perhaps you will discover a new driving force and purpose in life that you are not currently fulfilling.

Dare to dream big!  Take control of your destiny – your health and happiness will follow :0)
