Women’s Health & Wellness

Welcome to a life of Better Health @ In Symmetry

At In Symmetry, treating women’s health & wellness is one of our biggest passions.

More than ever before women are leading busier lives and battling overwhelm has become a daily occurrence. Between work, kids, home, family, study and other commitments, women have little to no time to look after ourselves, right?

Women often put up with their health problems and prioritise others first. Often enduring health issues that are deemed as “normal”, such as excruciating period pain & debilitating peri-menopausal symptoms, because these health issues are commonly seen. What if we said that you don’t need to suffer?

Here at In Symmetry, we think it’s important to make the distinction between what is common and what is normal. We absolutely don’t believe in putting up with health issues just because they’re common.

What is a Normal Menstrual Cycle?

This is what a textbook woman’s menstrual cycle should look like:

  • 27-29 days

  • no pain

  • flow starts straight away, no stop-start bleeding

  • 3-4 days of bleeding, not too heavy, nor too light

  • 1-2 days of light bleed and spotting at end

  • no PMS – profound fatigue, pain, bloating, sore breasts or headaches

  • a fresh deep red colour – not brown, purple or light red

  • no clots, stringy bits or mucous

Does that sound too good to be true? At In Symmetry we believe that all women deserve to have a normal menstrual cycle, as described above. We can assist you in working through identifying and addressing any problems that may be getting in the way of you achieving that.

Have you been diagnosed with one of the myriad of women’s hormonal health issues that commonly occur in our world? PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids or suffering from chronic pelvic pain? Or perhaps you are further along your journey and your menstrual period has ended – only to be replaced with a new set of equally unwanted symptoms such as hot flushes, insomnia, mood swings, and fluid retention.

No matter where you’re at, our practitioners are well versed in supporting all aspects of women’s health, and can discuss with you your health concerns and how we may be able to assist.

Our skilled Practitioners will help to give you clarity on:

- What’s wrong (diagnosis)

- Why it is there (root cause)

- An individualised plan to achieve your goals.
