Dr Vanessa Manion (Chinese Medicine) is a university-trained and nationally registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology & Chinese Medicine.
Vanessa is an empathetic, thoughtful, and caring practitioner dedicated to providing holistic care to her patients by restoring harmony through Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. With extensive knowledge in her field and an understanding of the importance of integrated medicine, she combines her knowledge of Western medical science with traditional Chinese medicine to form a holistic understanding of her patient’s health concerns and treat patients with a range of general health concerns:

Vanessa’s professional career has spanned the roles of Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist, Remedial Masseur, Myotherapist and Dental Nurse. Vanessa has worked within the healthcare field her entire life and has a lifelong learning approach to formal studies.
Vanessa completed her Cert IV, Diploma & Adv. Dip in Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) and proceeded to apply her skills in that field for 16 years. She continued her formal education and obtained her 5-year double degree in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology at RMIT whilst practicing as a Myotherapist. Upon graduating RMIT in 2012 Vanessa has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture within numerous practices.
The accumulation of these roles with the required qualifications, formal training/education, workplace experiences, patient interactions, acquired occupational skills and gained knowledge from peers & fellow healthcare professionals has developed Vanessa into a practical and compassionate Chinese Medicine healthcare practitioner with extensive experience & knowledge within her field of practice.
Vanessa is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in the categories of Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner & Chinese Herbal Dispenser and holds professional membership with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
